I'm Amal Jarrahi, a scholar and artist dedicated to exploring the intersection of art and literature. My academic journey led me to Aix-Marseille University in France, where I earned a Ph.D. focused on how stories and imagery shape cultural understanding. This journey fueled my passion for bridging literary analysis and creative expression, which I further developed by studying painting in Iran. There, I refined a style that brings themes of identity and memory vividly to life on canvas. I'm currently based in South Korea, where I continue to pursue interdisciplinary work.
Since 2010, I have been committed to education, beginning with teaching French in secondary schools and expanding my role in 2020 as an instructor at the Higher Institute of Environmental Technologies. I strive to foster critical thinking and cultural dialogue, inspiring students to connect with literature and the arts, and to engage deeply with the powerful dialogue between art and literature.
